Lessons learned!! Unfortunately, as soon as the stage took Ms Ross fans from GOD knows where we’re standing in front of us waving, video taping, and taking pictures. Not only for safety reasons but also to be curtsy to the people who paid big money to sit in those seats that became obstructed, while enjoying the show. We should have purchased cheap seats and sat above to watch. From what we both watched, Diana was great, but the lack of controlling the crowd so we could enjoy the entire show put a damper on the evening. My Wife and I always wanted to see An Irish Christmas who was performing at the Boch Wang Theater in Boston on the 8th of September, which was close to our 39th wedding Anniversary so what better time to spend top dollar to sit down front (RowB) and enjoy the evening. The Security at the theater did their best to tell the fans to go back to their seats throughout the evening.

"I called ahead to check the doors' opening time for the 8:00 An Irish Christmas concert. At 7:00, we were in line.
We waited on line for 90 minutes. Then, we had to endure two warm-up bands for another two hours. This was ridiculous. I was prepared to contact ticketmaster for a refund.
We watched the first 4 songs of An Irish Christmas and left. By then, it was 11:35. If I had known they wouldn't go on stage until 10:30, that's when I would have arrived. Instead, we spent 3 hours standing on concrete floors waiting for them.

Derek Trucks is a master who doesn't cease to captivate. An Irish Christmas Crowes, well I owe them some respect for their longevity. To me, their music hasn't stood up to time. His playing is perfect and effortless, though I would have preferred more blues. With their late start time, the plethora of smoke that rose up to the loge area where we sat, and the long drive home being too much for us, we left knowing full well we'd miss a big finale with this being the last show of the year for both artists. I've seen him 5th or 6th time.
